Hello and welcome to the official website of the World Famous Chitlin' Strut!  We hope that you will come to Salley, South Carolina and join us for this fun-filled weekend.

The 2011 Vendor Applications are available.  You may click "Vendor Applications" to obtain the one you are looking for.  We are full for food vendors.  We are not accepting any more food vendors.

The 2011 Chitlin Strut Beauty Pageant will be held Saturday, November 19th.   Applications are available now.   Click the "Chitlin Queen" link to download your application and to see the list of 2010 Chitlin Queens. 

This year the 5th annual Chitlin Strut Idol Contest will be on Friday, November 25th.  Come on and show everyone how well you can sing or just come for a wonderful night of entertainment.  For an application, click the "Vendor Applications" link.

We will be bringing back local favorite Anybody's Guess for our entertainment this year!  They are famous for their classic rock, country, beach and blues.  We are very excited to have them back out the Chitlin Strut.

This internationally known festival is located in the quiet, southern town of Salley, South Carolina (population 398) and is held annually the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  Each year approximately 25,000 visitors converge on Salley to celebrate one of the more unusual food items available, chitterlings.  Quite simply, chitterlings (or chitlin's) are fried pig intestines and have been a southern tradition for over one-hundred years.

So come on out and try some of them chitlin's!  Okay, well if you don't want to try the chitlin's, we won't hold it against you!  But you can't say you've been to the world famous Chitlin' Strut until we see ya!
